The striped skunk lives in logs, woods and other homes that have been left by other animals.
The striped skunk can be found in most parts of the United States and up into Canada.
Food: Most insects and berries and what ever else the skunks can get there hands on.
Predators: Most animals try to avoid the skunk unless extremely hungry. But the fox often does target the striped skunk.
Interesting facts: When threatened the striped skunk will raise its tail to warn the predator.
The skunk is striped to ward off predators. It’s long face and sharp claws help it dig for insects.
